Life as a trainee solicitor

There is something poignant in the way that some of the more insecure members of the legal profession aspire to the trappings of the upper classes, when in fact, they are nothing more than grey solicitors drawn from the grey ranks of the middle classes who generate documents and churn out due diligence by the hour at the whim of those higher up the corporate food chain. And for not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things.

It is times like that when you start having doubts about whether or not you are in the right profession ... and/or if there is such a wonderful thing as a right profession.
